Tangband W3-871S in a small enclosure, which? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Since I am finishing up on my 2nd large speaker, latest BIB project, I need to lean/improve cabinet skill before my "final" BIB project with Fostex...

My router has arrived and I like to build small enclosure from the scrap plywood I have. I have ordered the Tang Band and like to put them in a non box configuration. Does anyone have a suggestion?. Some stylish bookshelf type?

thanks,

gychang

This may be stretching the bookshelf idea but I had a thread
going called Noogies for the TB WS871s. I didn't get any
response on it.

But for "stylish", here is the Noogi at Cain and Cain:

Wish I would have known before hand. I have a pair of W3-871S's new in their unopened boxes from Parts Express. ..I would have given them for a few bucks less than you probably paid. I came up with a project several months ago, never started it, then forgot about it.

Oh well...
If anyone else is interested, let me know.

And by the way, I also had a pair of these that I bought specifically for this project, but sold them. They're great for projects like this, and the silver painted paper cone matches the W3-871S PERFECTLY! The eD logo looks kind of nice with it too. I bought them back when they first came out for $50 each directly from eD. ..Just an idea I thought I'd share...

PS: Sorry, not trying to advertise and take over this thread or anything. I just saw it and happened to think of them, as I almost forgot I still had them.
