TENS ARE BETTER THAN TWELVES. IF YOU BUY TENS, YOU WILL HAVE ENOUGH CHANGE FOR A COUPLE OF STEAK DINNERS. If you have the power for 12's and the proper airspace they will put out lower bass and more sound pressure. However if you do not have the room for a larger box (enclosure) I recommend 10s. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ROOM FOR TWELVES BUT STILL LIKE LARGER WOOFERS, USE 10'S AND USE 12 INCH SPEAKER COVERS.

Look into going with a single 12 or a 15 instead of dual 10s or 12s.

In what way?

If you like large woofers, getting large grills doesn't help in any way. If you like the "look of large woofers," then yes, the grills help.

Personally, I like 10's the best. With the right box, right amp and the right subs, they will go very low and loud. Like rock concert loud.

I just got a '97 Kia Sephia and I'm going to put my Dr. Crankenstein HV 12's in it on the fact that the rear seat folds down. I don't plan on having passengers in the back much so I don't care.

I just need to figure out how to motorize the rear seat so it folds down. That and the stock mid locations suck, doing a stealth install will prove a challenge...

i dont care about spae the subs i wanna get are good not mounted in a box (free aire space) plus i have a big *** trunk so saving space isnt an issue im thinkin about fully customizing the trunk anyway and not useing a box just need to know which gives off a nicer sound before i buy em!!
