Hello All,
I'm usually over in the Loudspeakers forum, but I just bought a 2006 Ford Focus ZX3 and I want to replace the factory speakers.
I was just wondering if anyone happens to know the dimensions of the speakers (they're in the doors) that come with these cars? Once I know that then I'll be able to shop for upgrades. I can ask the dealer, but I thought I'd try here first. I don't want to crack open the doors just yet to find out for myself!

If you go to the manufacturers page for the speaker brands you like they have a look up list that will tell you what you can buy new from them that will fit your car.
For instance infinity and alpine I know have this page for car look ups

Yes that actually will help, possibly a lot. I'm going to be looking at brands like Vifa, SEAS & Peerless actually, but I guess all I have to do is take down the dimensions of any make/model that says it fits my car and find soomething similar in the brands I'm interested in.

Chances are, they're 5x7 as most fords use.
I would check crutchfield.com as they have an excellent speaker fit list for many cars. |
