Speaker impedance for old 2 knob? - Click HERE for Original Thread
2litre
OK, don't laugh to hard.

I have an old Kraco 2 knob, 4 channel stereo tape deck in my 72 bug. Looks old enough to have been bought new with the car.

If I desire to use all 4 channels, can I use 4 ohm speakers or should I use 8 ohm speakers?

Not that it matters but I'm currently using just the rear channels with some vintage 8 ohm, 8" full range boxes.

The drivers I'm looking at are available either way.

4 ohm will be fine. if you want to be safe and protect the output put on some 500mA (.5A) fuses on the speaker wires.
