Hi all,
I would like to know if someone remember the 2 articles Moriyasu wrote on Speaker Builder 7-8/2000, titled "A study of midrange enclosures", and what are the conclusions. A scanned copy of the articles will also be welcome. :-)

Yes - after all kinds of shapes and sizes the two most significant perameters were size, bigger is better with fiberglas damping material, and chamfering the back side of the driver hole to free up back wave as much as posible. A lot more details but these are the highlights.
I have that artical.

How critical was the parallel vs. non-parallel walls?
Joules
Sorry guys been away -
I looked for that artical and could not find it, your best bet would a reprint from Audioxpress
In the artical tho they tried
cube
golden rectangle
pirimid - four sided and 3 sided
tube - long and short
spherical
Large and small
And all tho there were minor differences, just plane large w/fiberglass seemed to provide the least altered response
some of the shapes did better than others.
But surprisingly enough the cube did extremely well
