Blown sub? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I was driving to school today about 34 degrees outside and i had my sub an extant type A at about half power and suddenly it just stoppped. It started making a kinda static sound and i took it out of the sub box and the wire connecting the negative terminal to the voice coil is kinda split off and looks like it could have burned alittle. I was wondering if there is a way to fix it or if it is now garbage.
