These are Roederstein (Germany), polyester which is in fact rather good if we talk quality and performance (for a polyester type). We use them at work and we have bought >>10E6 of them. I consider them quite good in audio also. I have compared them with polypropulene and I can't seriously hear any difference. But if I can choose, I would choose polypropulene because it feels better.
Nelson mentioned in an another thread about capacitor distortion and the conclusion was that caps contribute rather little compared to other parts in when it came to distortion at least. |
