Interested in hearing from builders who have listened to more than one output stage for tda1541a. Many have used 6dj8/ECC88; 6c45p; 7788/e810f triode wired, etc.

Right now I use a 6dj8 stage (tube-lover's v2 kit) Its pretty good, but I am wondering if there is a significant step up?

I have read very enthusiastic posts by those who built CCS anode load 6c45 or 7788/e810f. I have NOT read any posts from those who built CCS but did NOT like it, and changed. Anybody out there fit this profile?

I need moderate/low Zout and about ~2V output as I use a passive TVC feeding 1.5V sensitive 300B in DRD circuit (100K ohm). An output stage that allows use of fairly low 22-47 ohm IV resistor since tda1541 distortion increases rapidly as one approaches 100ohm.

What's your favorite and why?
