Irf520N for BSOZ? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hi all

I am wondering :xeye:if it would be suitable to use irf520N in replacement for the irf610 in the BSOZ? I thought it could be alright and got myself 30 pieces of this transistor. On second thought, better confirm with all Gurus before building.

No nonsense in the specs. It seems that only the higher input capacitance may be a drawback. It is likely to work perfectly in the pre, perhaps giving a flavour of the BOSOZ depending on what it's going to drive its input.

Thanks for your reassurance.
