Question to all owners of Valve amplifiers, 3rd. edition!

I am looking at Morgan Jones's output bias servo, presented on page 420. Besides being interested in other people experiences with those kind of servos, I am wondering if I could use a dual opamp in a single package. I know there is some difference between them, but I have no idea what, and how it would influence performance of the servo. The design asks for a 5534 and a 071, the first being a "low noise OPAMP", the second a 'low noise, J fet input".

I want to use a single package because I want to make the PCB as small as possible. I could be either a 5532 or a 072, both are cheap!

Many thanks for the attention

Erik

Hi,

Yes, I did a Broskie style autobias using the 4558 dual opamp.
