I've built an LM3875 gainclone and now want to try a high quality 1875 based one.

Any suggestions for circuits etc?

Thanks.

Thanks, Jan. I was thinking of other designs that circuit topologies that have proved to offer good sound quality.

Also, recommendations for the 2.2uf input cap, please?

Thanks.

Another (dumb?) question for you:

Would one 50Watt 2x18v per channel transfromer be sufficient for a low power 1875 amp?

Thanks again,

Lee

Generally (not precisely) speaking, W is used in this forum for amp output power, while VA is for transformer output rating. VA is used because the W you get from a power supply depends on several other factors besides VA.
