Hey,
I'm designing a 6.1 speaker set for my AS product design course but i need a little help.
Apparently, ported sub enclosures need to be the right volume, with the right length and diameter port. Is this true? If so, how do you calculate the sizes?

| There are many ways to do this. There are softwares, such as winisd that can calculate it for you. You need to do some reading, spend a little time poking through this forum to get the 'basics'. Good luck. |

I've downloaded the software, had a play and I think I understand it.
I have another question. Where, in britan, can i get speakers? The only place I can find is maplins and their range isnt that special.
