really having a hard time finding 50 volt 3300uf (polar)axial caps...
are axial's still in full production ? or are they just old stock now?

Funny that you mention this....
Radials are becoming more and more prevelent.
As a dealer I had to make a special order to have axials
made and with a high minimum order.
These however were the 450V axials used in tube amps.

Also when I ran out of 22 Uf 450V I also had a hard time
finding some, I found some of the same I had surplus
from another dealer.

its not funny, its sad....because i cant find any :bawling:

really though, the only ones ive found so far are made by vishay (bc) that i can easily find without digging to hard.

how many did they make you order for a special production run?

i need around 200, but 1000 wouldnt be so bad if the price isnt too high...
Apex Jr
I spread the buying to 3 different values, 33 Uf, 47Uf and
100Uf all at 450V and axial. I needed a minimum order of
$3500.00 so I made the quantities work out with that.
Plus the shipping, brokerage fee, customs, Insurance,
bond fee, cartage fee and so on......
