TA2020-- 16Ohm Loads? - Click HERE for Original Thread
N.B.C.
How well does the TA2020, and in particular Charlize, work into 16ohm speaker loads?

My application is multiway, front-loaded horn speakers with sensitivity in 103-110db/w range.

Technical information, as well as subjective listening impressions, would be greatly appreciated.

You'll get a rising top end above about 10KHz.
See my page here. AMP6 FR
A 16 Ohm load is somewhere between 8 and unloaded.
It can sound a little bright on the top, depending on your tweeters. Or you might not even notice it.

Don't forget, these amps don't put out a lot of voltage, so you may be a bit limited into 16 Ohms.
FYI 4V@16ohms=1W. 2.83V@8ohms=1W

If your speakers can really do 103/110 dB/W, you may not have any worries about power!
