I have these unknown caps with ECMCO written on them.
Anybody have seen them? What type are these? Are they good for audio.

Any help...

Possibly from PRC.

PRC, u mean PR of China.
They are from TRW, US and are 1% in tolerance.
They are salvaged from never powered filter board from a field seismic recording instrument. The instrument was one of its kind and every component had quality in it. The opamps used were selected for the design and were the best of early eighties. By the way the board has MAT01AH. I would like to use them in LTP but they are NPNs. The main criteria of the analog circuitry was low noise, AFAIK. The HP filter could be set to 6 Hz.
