Hi all,

Has anyone tried these drivers from Rapid Electronics UK ?

http://www.rapidonline.com/producti...&moduleno=28632

At £10.20 each for the 130mm I may have a go at Cyburgs Needle with the width adjusted.

My 1970's Mordant Short Carnivals are on there last legs and i'm looking looking for a neat reasonably small replacement with a high WAF, to go with my 41hz AMP 6 thats almost finished.

This is my first post on any forum so please be kind !:D

Thanks,

Offanonone.

Hi,

sounds like a fun project but you'll have a hard time getting them
to sound as neutral as your old speakers. You could consider 2
a side, removing the whizzer cone from one and wiring it as a 0.5
way driver, will help balance the sound.
