I would like to build a circuit using an lm4780 in bridged mode using only a +24V supply(two 12V batteries). Does anyone happen to have a schematic handy? The data sheet shows how to build a single supply, and how to build a bridged, not not a combination of both.

I'm not sure if you can do it on fashion of the single supply example on the datasheet, really don't know.
One way is to use a boost SMPS to get it up to 48 then split it, having said that i have no idea what effect that will have on an audio amp, i've used it for other applications a lot of times.
You can get up to 93% efficiency. The actual circuit is quite simple. |
