| Anyone familiar with Norelco turntables? I aquired a Norelco model 202 "Electronic" turntable that doesn't work. You turn it on and nothing happens. Even the pilot light won't light. Now in checking this out I have around 15vdc on the dc side of the diode located on the circuit board, so the board is getting power, but a no volt reading at the outputs for the electric eye, pilot light or motor. I am suscpicious of the transistors, but I thought I would check with this forum before proceding further. Thanks. |

Hi,
I've never heard of "Norelco", but the model numbers convince
me they are rebranded Philips turntables, so search on Philips
GA-202 and you should find plenty of information.
I've rebuilt two Philips, fitting a connoissiur SAU2 arm to one,
and the other (a 212 electronic) a Mayware Formula 4 arm.

Hi,
It is indeed a Phillips. I downloaded a schematic however it is in german. I plan to dedicate this one for use on my 78s. I shall continue searching. Thank you. |
