Hello
I wonder if someone can help me.
I have really good USB speakers with a built in amp that are made for use on a laptop. And just recently i have been given a portable DVD player however the sound quality has much to be desired.
So i wonder if anyone can tell me if it is possible to hook up these usb speakers to the portable DVD player as the Pic quality is perfect and then the sound will be too.
The DVD player itself has a headphone mini jack socket as well as an audio red and white plug (as you can hook it up to a TV)
Would be much appreciated if anyone knows if there is a way or an adapter available that can help me out.
Cheers,
T

An adapter, probably not. The only way to do it "simply" is to open the USB speakers, find the USB receiver chip, disconnect its analog outputs before the amplifier section and connect there a stereo mini-jack in which to plug the signal coming from the dvd player.
If you want to keep the USB link, you'll then need a switch there. |
