Soft starter for an Aleph 1.2 clone - Click HERE for Original Thread
folkeb
I am currently building my clone version of the Aleph 1.2 monoblocks. The power supply will consist of 1250 VA and 528000uF for each block. This PS will require a soft starter of some sort. I have the thermistor CL-10, but I am, after reading threads on this and other forums, having second thoughts.

Can anyone recommend a soft starter that will work with my rather large power supply?

Thanks for any answers!

All you need is the thermistor... What value is CL-10? I believe Nelson uses CL-60. 10R/5A. Elfa equvivalent is called SG-42. Use one on AC-HOT and another on AC-Neutral ;)

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this device?

No experience but it's a thermistor designed for the job and I believe it will do just fine.
