dealing with parts express and the 15" tatanic mkii as been nothing but a nightmare.i finally got my replacement.this time the cone moves but make a staticy, scrachy sound.it's kind of hard to describe.i know it's not my amp or connection as i switched amps and the problem stayed.it's not the voice coil scraping-i checked.can some tell me what the problem might be?

With the speaker unpowered, you can gently, evenly push the cone's center in and out with your fingertips and with your ear near the cone. If the scratching remains, you may have a damaged voice coil. That's what I experienced when I blew my driver years ago.
