Hello everybody
Since a few weeks I am the owner of an old AD1955 evaluation board. Problem here is that no information is available how to set twe switches and jumpers to let the board run on my 16 bit 44.1kHz optical output coming from my CD player.
I have the following questions:
1 functions of the mode select switch ( 16 steps rotary type)
2 mode select A and B and their functions
3 J18 jumpers EXT, DIR, DSD , no one is fitted for the moment.
4 Can I run the board without SPI control?
For now I can only see that the lights "left zero" "right zero" can go on and off depending of playing with several settings but no output is coming from the left and right filter out.
Who can help me

Hello Jon,
Yes , the local distributor has no information. On the Analog website the information is removed.

I have the same problem. Use the SPDIF inout and RCA output, no sound. Any luck so far? |
