Hello,
How does the FE108ez sounds compared to the WR125? Any advantage on the Creative Sounds? And disavantages?
obs: Only in terms of SQ, I know the WR125 enclosure is much smaller :D .

Sensitivity and enclosure requirements aside, the main advantage of the WR or FR125 is the surprising amount of bass response possible from relatively tiny boxes. FWIW, the best I've heard from a single of these drivers has been in the Planet10 Mini-Onken.
OTOH, I think it's fair to day the Fostex FE108E Sigma has superior midrange transparency and finese over either CSS driver. For that matter, even the FE127e's (with some careful cone treatment) have a great deal of the Fostex midrange magic, several more dB sensitivity, and also perform quite admirably in the mini-onken aperiodic enclosure.
of course the standard caveats apply - YMMV, personal taste, etc.... |

| Well, the bass matter is pretty much a function of the lower sensitivity and there's one other, CRITICAL issue: xmax. Fostexs won't go nearly as loud in sealed or vented boxes. That means that while they might work in a small room in such an enclosure, they'll be useless as the room gets bigger where the FR125s will continue chugging along. |

Well… have not heard either but have heard the 127e vs the Tangband 1320 Bamboo … both pretty cool drivers worthy of you money.
But the Fostex has a better midrange and treble than the TB (which is similar to the CSS I have read). Using a sub, the Fostex is the winner overall… without a sub the Fostex still wins IMO because of its superior resolution, speed and jump factor that the TB doesn’t have as much. The TB is fuller in the bass but sounds more like hi fi than music to me.

I have the FE108ez Sigma in the recommended Fostex Horn and I love how it sounds, very detailed, awesome midrange, and very good highs too. Lack of bass a little, but I can live with this.
I read a lot of good stuff about the FR125, so I was curious...
