Came across this, it has a single value written on the case but has three leads (had to fix the scan).

| From the value it looks like a motor starter capacitor, or something similar?. If you check the connections I'm presuming either two of them will be connected together, or one won't be connected at all - the three connections are used just for mechanical stability when mounted. |

| Hmm, plausible. BTW the case is 1 5/8" long. My research tells me so far that other mixed dielectric caps are paper and polypropylene. |

Yes, I measure 3u3 across two terminals only, and open circuit across all. |
