Measuring Frequency Response - Click HERE for Original Thread
furly
Hi guys,

Just finished my first set of Stats and I am wondering what tools people are using to measure their frequency responses.
I plan on hooking up a signal generator to my amplifier and using an SPL meter to measure each speaker at various frequencies. Seems kind of primitive.

Any suggestions?

Usually we would use a computer program. Speaker Workshop comes to mind. The Signal Generator and SPL meter will give you ball park figures on a course scale as long as the SPL meter is itself flat which most aren't.
