Actually, no. The thing seems to be built for ever :D (I know it's not)

Someone suggested me a few tuning/upgrade ideas and i am willing to try, but not "blindly". Modifications range from changing a few capacitors to replacing the whole power modules. Without the schematic, I can't really appreciate if it is worth it or not. The PCB is considered to be a weak point of the amp, as being too "messy" with lots of straps, so it is difficult to retrieve the schematics from the PCB.

Specificallly, a capacitor in the negative feedback loop has been mentioned (the one between the inverting input of the differential input stage to the ground). Changing this to a non-electrolityc one shoud improve sound.

I am new to this forum, maybe there are people that did some tuning to "stock" amplifiers here ?

If by tuning you mean replacing worn out cheap stock parts with newer hi quality parts, then yes. People do this all the time with cars too. :cool: Scematic would be helpful.:yes:
