Alright well I've done a lot of reading, so in order to test my car amp and speakers http://www.visonikcaraudio.com/sub/.../superbass.html
(I know the're not that great) in my house I got a DC power supply http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...rentPage=search . So now my problem is wiring this setup correctly for my amp to turn on. I've tried 2 different ways.
1) + on ps to +12v on amp; - on ps to ground on amp.
2) + on ps to both +12v and remote on amp; - on ps to ground on amp.
So basically I'm trying to get this to work even though 25 amps will probably under power this amp. If anyone could help me out by telling me what I'm doing wrong then please do so.

| The amp is a visonik V217SX. |

i think if you hook it up right then it should be working correctly, unless there is a problem in tha car amp.
do you use a head unit to run the amp on the bench?
On most car amps only B+ , B-, and the remote on that needs to
be hooked up to power up. unless if there is a special hookup or
connection to that amp. |

Wow, I finally got it to work.
I don't really know how but I think that it was the connection from ground to - on the batterry that was faulty.
Now I just have to figure out why only 1 woofer works.

| Car amps are designed to run at 13.8V, batteries only give 12 V when the engine is off. |
