In the review stated that it is a R2R base volume control,which the signal only pass through 2 relays and 2 resistor per channel.Any idea how it's done???

The method is basically to build a set of voltage dividers of different values. 2 resistors per step value.
Then connct the appropiate divider set into the circuit with relays.
