Weird (?) problem with 317 regulator - Click HERE for Original Thread
Onvinyl
Hi,
I have some simple lm317 regulator circuits, like in the datasheets with added Cadj. While playing around with a more or less antique scope I saw that one circuit does not correct low frequency shifts between say 0.5 - 4 Hz (A 'jumping' y-axis). This with input at x10, 0.02V/div at diverse time/div settings. It is also a bit noisier. The other boards correct the shifting before the regs. Pluggin in a new 317 changed nothing, and I can't find a defective part. What is it, and what shall I look for?

... the input cap is about 1,5 inches away, placing an additional 0.1uF Cap close to the pin solved it.
