LM3886 & PGA2310 issues - Click HERE for Original Thread

I built a kit from chipamp.com and it came out flawlessly. Has been working just fine until I tried to control it's volume with a PGA2310 that I had breadboarded. I am still working on the code so it hasn't been completely functional. But I was getting faint distorted signal when everything was turned on. Then it sounded like clipping.

So I reverted back to the dual gang pot to see if there was any permanent damage. It has a low distorted signal now. I re-populated that breadboard 3 times and know it was correct.

As I type this I am thinking it could be 2 things. Do the left & right grounds need to be isolated for this amp? Or the ±15v may have contacted the Vout. But not sure how that could effect both channels.

I have to take a break from this, it's been a long day. :dead: Does anyone have any input?
