The new case LC07 from Silverstone looks like a good contender to house a chip-amp. What do you think.

PC cases are often much like movie props. they have a very nice face on the front but the back and sides are just cheap stuff.
make sure the insides and back are not made from that nasty stamped steel. |

You are spot on about most cases. This one looks to be mostly aluminum, though (the bottom looks like steel). Nice looking case.

Since when does price ALWAYS correlate to quality. ;) Thats a sucker's mentality. Not to say you don't get what you pay for, but sometimes people pay for what they don't "get". :D

| Silverstone has a well-deserved reputation for really high quality, and really high prices. (Expect to pay 200$ for that case, including the not-useful-for-audio power supply). It's likely almost entirely aluminum. |
