What a sound! I let it run for 5 minutes at +/- 26.8 V and it sounded way better then the about 1 year old Sony-reciver that usually is on at my work. For exampel, at David Grays track "Please forgive me" there is some hihat's running in the background that dont come thru with the Sony (industry building with 2 machines running), but there they where with the GC! And only one channel and not full volume!
Sad thing that i can't try it out at home yet, need to build the power-circut and the other channel :xeye: I have to compare it with my Harman/Kardon to see if I spent that money for no use haha. But it feels good to have made something that work :smash:
Anyhow, the schematic and layout is found at http://www.leetmaa.se/diy/index.html and i need to know if there is any rejections about the layout? Im going to re-cad it today because of some miss-calculation about pads and component size's.
Im thinking of adding a zobel network (aka Boucherot cell). Suggested values? Im also thinking of skip the pott because im going to use a "preamp", source-selector with just one pott for both channels. Is it as simple to skipp the pott or do i need to add (replace it) with something else?!
Oh and by the way, i skipped the L1 (10-12 rounds of #22-wire around output resistor R2). do i need that!? Didnt sound like it...
Thank you and happy DIYing! |

Look great. I'm thinking of making one out of your schematic. Which transformer do you use it with?
Cheers |

The plan named "all layers", just have one layer. Is it OK?
In the partlist, the pott is a potentiometer? Where are the connections on your PCB? |

Cheers | Im not using a transformer right now :( thats my seccond thing to build. Unfortunaly i have to power it with a big old dubbel-outputed regulated powersupply at work..

Yes that is correct. It becamed a one-sided layout. You should use the copper-layer if your going to use the one at my website to make a board by your self.
The pott is the square with 3 holes in it next to left of the audio input... |
