If im building a crossover for my loudspeakers is it ok to mount the components on a double sided copper clad board??. The components are a couple caps, resistors, and steel and air inductors. Does the copper clad board present a problem of any sort??.....Also, since im using a common ground point, is it ok to mount a small nut and bolt in the middle of the copper clad board and ground all the components there??. Does that present a problem??... Thanks guys.........if you have any advise on other good boards to use then please let me know. Are there any advantages to using different kinds of boards??. thanks

I wouldn't worry about copper clad board. I either glue the components to a small piece of thin MDF or ply, or used perfboard, PCB substrate drilled with rows of holes, but no copper.

so thats a yes??....its ok to use it and mount the grounds on the bolt at the central location?

Well, if you really want to, yes. But there are cheaper methods. Are you going to etch the PCB, or use it as a ground plane. Either way, you don't really need double sided.
