Integrating a DEQ2496 as a subwoofer EQ and want to properly integrate it into my system (it's in the chain after the receiver) ... two questions ...
(1) what's the latency / delay of the unit?
(2) what would that correspond to in terms of "feet" ... so that I can adjust the receiver's setting for relative distances of the speakers to account for the extra time delay in the Behringer?
Thanks |

The delay is in the order of about 1ms or so (depending on what you're doing internally), that's bout 34.5cm or 1' 1.5"
problem I have is the EQ only goes down to 20Hz, my sub plays below this, but needs a little EQ around 16-18Hz. Unit is good for ADC + EQ |

:xeye: around 16-18Hz
How can you know? RTA stops @ 20Hz.
Why not shift the sub arround the room to get the <20Hz correct.
And then do the > 20Hz with the DEQ.
Still i wonder, how can you tell if it's correct.

Hi Seoman :)
I use SpectraRTA software on a PC to measure RTA down to 10Hz.
and this is in the car, not the lounge, so moving the sub around is a bit awkward
