Does anyone know a retailer of good quality, low power, small drivers for personal use (i.e. computer, discman kind of drivers 2w or under i guess) all the prefabricated units on the market are weak with no bass response, so I though I'd give it a shot making my own.

Thanks guys :-)

Hi,
small, low power and bass are incompatible!!!!

With careful design you can achieve any two of these but NEVER all three.

eg. large, low power AND bass or small, low power and no bass or small, high power and nearly acceptable bass, etc. for the other 5 options.

Sorry to be so negative but it's pure physics.

Damn.................had my hopes up from the excellent design and full range of sennheiser headphones i though the concept may be possible on a larger scale. What about a portable micro sub, running of a little more juice, I'mm not looking for powerful bass just something to give the sound a little more solidity and depth and to be able to hear low freq.s bit of problem listening to sub genres of dance paticularly things like breaks is they highly focus on bass?
