Not really sure if this belongs to pass labs, but I am on my way to Zen4 nirvana5 ;) and so it might as well...
What is the '+' sign on the cap doing along side the polarity bar that indicates the negative lead (+85C ??). Just want to confirm that this is indeed negative lead despite the '+' sign on it :confused: |

Yeah. I think the force of the -'s pulled the +'s away from the 85C. Guess they weren't attached too firmly. :)

| jag (I in swedish!), 99.99% of all radial (standing) electrolythic caps has a wide stripe usually white with minus signs. This is true for caps in aluminium cans not those in plastic like the orange or purpur (wine red) ones from Siemens. |
