BTW, the P+G potmeters have hardly been used, but tried in a (DP) pre-amp. New price was something like U.K. £ 550!!!(?)

I too have the IRFP240 (IR) I have 100 of them so 24 matched is not a problem, did you already do the deal with Havardian?
