As many here probably know, Linc Wray passed away on the 5th of this month in Denmark. I honestly haven't thought about his music in years, but I certainly remember when his 1st big hit, "Rumble" came out in.........1958 (I think). He had several other hits like "Rawhide" and "Comanche" as well as others that due to the Mists of Time.............Jeez, I really hate those darn mists, they seem to be getting more frequent:^)
Does anyone know of a source for any cd's of his work?

| Sad news but he must have had one heck of a life. You can get pretty much anything he recorded on various compilations. Check out Norton Records, they have a 4-part series I think. Really good stuff. There's also a fairly cheap and easy to find "best of" called "Rumble" on CD. Check Amazon. |
