Well maybe there is for an Aleph 3.
I have obtained a large number of 15" long 1/4" x 2" extruded aluminum angle pieces. My intention is to mill back one of the legs to ~1-1/4" and mount these on a couple of copper bars to fabricate a large heatsink. The overall dimensions would be 18" x 20" and wind up with 18 legs, each 1/4" x 2". Each of the two sinks would weigh about 20 lbs.
What say you?
One and only? |

You can't really go wrong with big lumps of metal! :)
The only issue I can see with heatsinks in the diy arena is cost... |

You`re right, I can`t. Therefore I sold many of them:

Still have a nice bunch though:)
No idea when IŽll have the time to use them, maybe when I`m old and deaf (but when I`m not blind too, at least I have a nice eyecatcher to look at).;) |
