Full negative rail voltag on my output?? - Click HERE for Original Thread

On my latest little lm3886 monoblock, I tried the point to point approach. Well, I had a 50V capacitor on my output just to be safe, and the sucker blew out 10 seconds after power up It was polarized, but the positive was correctly oriented toward the circuit, away from the speaker. I also found that I have the full -35v of my negative rail on my output. Did I just get a bad chip? Or is it something else?

Thanx
