My Amp's remote wire is connected to my hu's remote wire lead but the amp doesnt come on...but when i hook it up to my cigarette lighter it stays on and when i turn the key it shuts off...my cigarette lighter doesnt work when the key isnt turned so i dont know how its getting power to turn on(Light on the amp is on) I hooked it to a source in the fuse box and the same problem.....please help me....I'm in a 1990 Dodge Ram D150 btw if there is nething special about this...

A couple of things. First, your h/u usually has 2 blue wires. One solid blue and the other blue with a white stripe. Make sure you're using the blue w/white stripe.

Next, verify using either a DMM or a 12V test light that you're not getting 12V to the turn on lead.
