Hello All:
I am heading over to Vancouver this weekend. It looks like I will have a bit of time to check out a few audio suppliers. So, I was hoping to some ideas of which shops that are worth checking out. I am interested in tube, and SS stuff, resistors, capacitors, RCA, du dads etc
Please post supplier and location I can figure the rest out.

Thanks for the help
Cal Weldon
Can't help you with suppliers but where are you staying? Close by? You have transport?

Lee's Electronics at 4522 Main St. (604) 875-1993.
They have most DIY items even tubes and high voltage cap's
Husband and wife team...very nice people!

Also, to top that off, if they don't have it...
Main Electronics 3 doors down probally will!

I'm able to find most (if not all) of my DIY tube project items from these two places at VERY reasonbale rates!

A source for parts for speakers can be Vancouver Audio Speaker Clinic. They are at 420 East Broadway, just east of Kingsgate Mall. See David Lee or Howard Doctor there and say Dan from LA sent you.

They can also repair pretty well any speaker that is worth repairing and at reasonable prices.

They are among the most knowledgeable people anywhere (and I mean the entire planet) on the building of speaker systems.

Lee's is great, nice people, but I'd recommend caution buying tubes from Main. The selection is huge (ask at the counter) but the prices often way out of line, $15 for an 0D3 for example.
