DC coupling capacitor placement - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have been wondering about the DC coupling capacitor placement in the basic inverted gainclone circuit...

what bothers me is the 56k resitor that connects between the input and this capacitor... doesnt this then still alow DC components in pin 7 (negative input) ?

Is there a way to decouple both inputs if this is the case?

Well, in your diagram pin 7 is hardwired to ground. By definition, ground = zero volts (assuming the input signal cable return or screen also goes to ground). I don't see how there can be any DC into it??
