I have hundreds of 1500uF, 450VDC computer-grade capacitors available. I also have a few hundred 800uF ones. They are all circa late-80's to early-90's. The dozen or so that I re-formed worked just fine.
$5 each for the 800uF, 450VDC ones.
$8 each for the 1500uF, 450VDC ones.
I can fit ten of the 1500uF ones into the $7.70 flat-rate USPS box.
