Yehuda | Hi,
do you know Har-Tzion, near the old central bus station, T-A? A lot of electronic stores.
Second source - www.rsisrael.com. Both blank and positive coated pcbs, high quality but expensive...
regards
Vitaly
P.S. I'm also in Jerusalem, north. |

i heard about them but we have tal-mir electronics over here in haifa, they only have normal coated PCB which i don't use. I did many PCBs with positive coating but i got them from this site http://www.elexp.com
they ship quickly and i think they offer good prices, at least better than most places around here in israel. |

| If you are looking for aluminium cases, try the Tel Aviv industrial zone, especially Hatzerim street. I made myself a nice 3mm custom aluminium case there for about 200 NIS, which I painted with special aluminium black paint, it looks great. |

Hi teddy_pardo,
Recently, I built for myself an amplifier case from 4 mm aluminium. The case has a scratches and I want to paint it. How exactly did you paint the aluminium? Did you polished the case before the painting? What type of paint did you use?
Thanks,
Anton. |

Hi Anton,
First you have to polish the aluminium with sandpaper to remove oxidation, then clean it to remove any oil traces.
I have used a dedicated aluminium spray which gave very nice results, but it costs five times the cost of normal acrylic paint.

monomonster,
Are you kidding...
You can get any box size and front plate already brushed and anodized here in Israel.
Try Solomon & Sosbon, look in Yellow Pages. |
