FS: Northcreek Rhythm Revelator Signature - Click HERE for Original Thread
Ken Jacobsen
For Sale: The Rhythm uses the ultra high-end drivers: Scan Speak D2905/9900 Revelator tweeter & a pair of Scanspeak kevlar high-end woofer/midrange drivers18W/8546 (used by Dali, Sonus Faber, Wilson Audio and countless others). This is the top version of the Rhythm models.

The Rhythm Signature uses 8 AWG inductors in the cross-over (look at the size, who else does does that under $10K?). The cross-over is cost no object, assembled by North Creek. The satin black cabinet is built with 1 inch !!!!! MDF by Lee Taylor. The speaker comes with cables from cross-over to cabinet since the crossover is external. I can mount it internally if you wish. I never got around to have the external boxes built for the cross-overs, but cost about $100,- from Lee Taylors company. They are also easy to make and will send the plans for construction (spikes for them are included). It's purely cosmetic anyway.
You can easily tune the bass to suit your room by adjusting the port tube length via the inserted straws. This speaker goes well into the 20hz range.

This speakers are heavy, I estimate 150 lbs. for the pair. Local pick-up is preferred in the New York City area or we can split the ride. The original cabinet boxes are still available, but they are inadequate for shipping puposes. There are some minor scratches and some small imperfections. I never found this finish really durable and would consider getting them refinished. Don't hesitate to contact me for more information. More Photos available upon request.

These speakers compare to speakers costing near 10 grand. New cost for component minus cabinet: $2,299.00 per pair (crossover alone is nearly a grand). Cabinets: $950.00 Total value: $3249.00. Asking $1600 or best offer.

Read the reviews as well.
