Hi Guys!
I'd like to build a DAC board with TDA1541A to my SONY CD-Player, but I don't want to use any reciever chip.
My question is:
How can I get the standard philips digtal signal directly somewhere in transport what can I use directly to drive my TDA1541A.
Could anyone helps me???
Thenks in advance!
ps: (SONY CDP-X303ES) |

| There's a whole thread on the subject. One of the people around here had a detailed schematic and someone else even made up some pcbs. It does require some bit shifting of the data. Search on sony bb to i2s |

Don't know. There's a schematic and pcb layout. What details do you need? Maybe you could try contacting them if they aren't hanging around here anymore. You could probably start by looking over the Sony and Philips datasheets for the two interfaces to understand the differences. I haven't done the conversion so that's all I got. There was a article in the old Audio Amateur that I believe Kal Rubinson wrote about converting the interfaces. He hangs out at Audio Asylum ;)
