I ran across this sub in a search last week and didn't think much of it because of the price, but just saw someone claim it was the best bass they had heard. Does anyone know anything about this sub? The only thing we can tell for sure from the page is that it uses dual 18" woofers. Would it be a servo-drive? Here is a link:

I spent about an hour at the RMAF auditioning a pair of these subs and talking with Ken Bates

Each sub contains a pair of Adire Malstroms. The boxes are critically damped design with a "Q" of 0.5. There's a 1500 watt plate amp with a built in LT circuit. The total group delay is an amazing 7ms.

No there is no servo-system.

No, actually I said it was the best 'box' sub I'd ever heard, my IB has better sound quality.

Sorry for the misquote... I didn't know it was you that had said that and I didn't remember exactly how it was worded. Thanks for the info, though.
