I'm trying to come up with my own little iPod boombox, battery powered of course. Is there any class-d chip (or similar hi-eff amp) out there that delivers 2-3 W rms from a 6V supply? If possible no smd since I plan on rolling my own....

Buy a T-Amp and rip the board out, it requires 12 volts tho.
