Best enclosure for Visaton BG20 - Click HERE for Original Thread
zek
I'm looking for the best enclosure for Visaton fullrange driver BG-20. My initial testing in Martin King's Project 5 (Fostex 207 in MLTL) looks pretty good, also in Thorsten's XL-box.

Can I get any real bass around 30-35 Hz with this driver? :bigeyes:

Any suggestions wellcome :smash:

I think this one looks quite good already: ;)

Did you try this one?

Here´s a very good enclosure for the BG20:
(although with another BG20 and a B200:bigeyes: )

Thanks joensd for this links.
I'd lost all my previous posts, because of computer "crash".
No I didn't try GM sims, because I lost them.

Thaks again.

More than once they have proven to be good ones so I´d give it a try if it´s not too big a speaker for you.

@zek:
geist4711 of the german HiFi-Forum constructed a BL-horn for the BG20. Here is a link to the post, in which you will also find a plan. The post is in german, but maybe you can mail to geist4711 for explanations in English.

Nice greetings, Berndt

@joensd
Yes, you are wright, but this box is very "boxy", I will go with somethig taller and slimmer (like Martin's MLTL).

@Cyburgs
Thanks for the tip, but where is that link :xeye:

Very interesanting project indeed, but I can realize how deep bass it can produce in realy average room (say 3mx5m).
